Why are you an artist?  I find a sense of peace and harmony that natural flows through me to the canvas and or paper such a feeling is like the flower that grows from the earth to the sun.

How long have you been an artist?  At birth and before as I feel we are universal.

Is there one particular artist or any person that helped you along way? A role model? A source of encouragement?  There have been so many people that have polarized me towards art.  From my elementary school art teacher through college classes, as well as myself, realizing and connecting with the oneness of self and with the greater universal source.

What is your favourite medium?  Oil.  I find that it reminds me of headwaters when it flows from there.  I open myself up and allow a greater source to flow through me and onto the canvas.

Do you have a ritual that you go through before, after or during the creative process?  Something that helps you work?
Become one with myself.  Becoming grounded and if needed I will meditate.

Have you ever felt like giving up?
That is not possible.  My passion for creating is true and natural.

To someone who wants to travel the path you're traveling, do you have any advice?  Make sure you go through all the basics.  If you still feel compelled to become an artist, revisit the basics again.  Never forget them otherwise you'll lose yourself.

As an artist, what is your biggest source of frustration?  I have been in contact with my greater source that allows me to flow attention, an understanding of who I am, not what I want or should have, but rather what I have the ability to have, knowing I have greatness to give.  I will do so with gratitude that will be.  So no, I have not become frustrated.  Frustration is for the lost.  Of not knowing where you already are.

If you could visit a certain period of history to observe the art and artists, which era would you choose and why?  Hellenistic Period 323-30 BC.  A curious time period mingling  Western and Eastern ideas, religions, and arts.  It was the last centuries before Christ.  A great style, variety and complexity of Hellenistic culture called for an architecture on an imperial scale and mosaic were symbols of luxury.  These true mosaics, composed entirely of cut stones, as well as other antiquities of beauty can be seen in their sculptures. "Venus de Milo" was the felling for stone as stone had quite surrendered to the ambition of making stone feel soft, warm a mimic of the human body. This could only be obtained by an artist with brilliant technical facility working in the conviction that the business of the artist is to produce from stone a vision of beauty.

This alone is the true point of the being of the artist, for that vision of beauty was to be carried out through the ages to come.

While Alexander and his successors were Hellenizing the East, a power was rising in the western Mediterranean that, in its own way would, like Greece, Europeanized the world and in the one fateful year, 146 BC, a powerful Roman culture sacked the Greek culture.
