tonight's
air is crisp and cold. if you breath in too quickly you feel your lungs shiver. beneath the colours
of the setting sun, the sky looked as though it was hunching it's shoulders, baring down deep for the oncoming, seemingly
endless dark. in a way, the pinks and pale yellows seemed hollow, almost plastic - as if holding its breath to
stay warm - holding its breath to hurry up the performance. get it over with. get back to the warm. i did
not make it out there today. i worked.
contacted some cool sites about a link exchange. opened up photoshop and played with several new images. nothing too serious. i
should have continued work on elayna's closet. it would have taken too much of a commitment. sometimes it seems hard to continue a new project
if i know i don't have the hours to complete it. i like working through the whole stretch. getting into that
zone and feeling juiced. getting it done. crossing it off the list... that's my favourite part!!!
michael is making a huge pot of his delicious split pea soup. the man knows how to cook.
without him i would be living on bananas and eggs. what a strange combination that is. peanut butter is pretty
good with bananas.
all in all life is pretty good down here in the pitts. i'm glad i'm
around. i'm hope i'm not going anywhere. at least for awhile.

 i was going through footage
thinking about another elayna film. i came across this image of miss corrine wearing a bias cut silk slip, that had been dyed with the
purples of mountain shadows. she liked this outfit. she moved well in it. it hugged the body and
breathed its way through the dance of how bad is bad. i remember it well... back then, it was warm out....

 i'm working pretty hard on elayna's closet. i just got all my remaining inventory of silk scarves up. next come the garments..... i have a retro piece and a couple of original dresses. good all-season
wear. it has to be easy, right? here's a sample of what's to come.
its gotten cold here. we are running to the store to find a couple more little heaters.
the sun was out and it was about 38 today. could have been worse. supposed to be around 12 tonight. yeah.
i saw a video on drudge. icy roads turned portland streets into bumper car shows. some guy was up on a roof
taping footage. wow. glad that's not here!
