happy happy new year!  big year ahead here.  a lot of plans in the works.  i'm starting another section to add onto the site called 'elayna's home'.  hand painted silk bedsheets, duvets, window panels, pillows of all sizes plus cotton serviettes and dish towels..... beautiful things that are useful as well.  that's the big plan. 
i am in the beginning stages of creating a bedroom set for a dear client who is an incredible friend.  she and her significant other are getting the works.  window panels, sheets, duvet, bed skirt, pillows.  i'm jealous!  her bedroom is going to be a sanctuary from the outside world.  beautiful clear turquoise.... she will be sleeping within the silky soft folds of ocean deep.  i am also going to document on film, the whole process.  this ties into another project that is on the drawing board.  michael and i have started a group channel on youtube.  its all about art.  when we have the channel developed a little further, i will include the link on this blog..... we'll see how it works.
tonight's sunset was pretty.  colours were soft and muted.  as if it was shocked by the happenings of the day.  the warmth AND sunshine these days is wonderful.  it almost feels like spring... sshhh.  i didn't say that outloud, did i?  if i don't acknowledge it, it won't go away.... yep.  that is the simple thought process behind keeping the weather as it is.  slightly scary for a 39 year old, eh?  humm.
