it has been awhile since i have taken the time to blog.  Christmas was great.  the family, jolene and kelly, came in.  we spent some good time together.  michael and i saw gene and yasmine, some really good friends... we drink champagne until 3 in the morning.  it was good.  thats what its all about.  (okay, maybe i should rephrase, what i meant was that seeing  family and friends was good, not the drinking, although the drinking was good too.)  humm.  
the weather has been damp and deary but not cold and no snow.  (yeah!)  my new round of colours look good.  this coming week, i am hoping to have time to dye some more.  i have several good leads to follow up on... 2007 is already shaping into what could be an okay year.... and it hasn't even begun.  
i must admit, i have always gotten excited over the prospect of starting fresh, of starting anew.  there's something about changing that last number of the year has always makes me smile.  this year, i don't know.  its not that it isn't exciting, its just that i feel i have already had a bunch of new years within 2006... i guess the 'out with the old - in with the new concept' is morphing for me.  its getting old.  been there, done that so to speak.  i can start anew whenever i want to.  i don't have to move far away or change my name or my hair colour or wait to begin another year...... i must have had 3 new years within 2006.  i hope 2007 is as changeable.  i like change.  change is good.  it keeps you busy.  it keeps you young.  it keeps you on your toes.
