i went through a period of time when i dreamt of the desert... it was a deep and dark and cold pennsylvania
winter. i'm not sure if i sought the colours for the warmth or if i craved the sense of peace.
the still. the quiet. there is a serene calmness surrounding this chiffon. desert sands show many colours.
the wind shifts drifts of sandy swells and yawns it's tidal waves throughout the landscape.
this piece is my desert.
a simple sheath with a soft slip beneath.
a panel dropping from the ceiling adding that slight air of intrigue... that slight sense of seductive privacy. a long
scarf about the neck, the shoulders, the head. chiffon is a strong silk yet the space it keeps is small and easy.
